Our Strategic Plan

SSI has 10 dedicated sales professionals committed to providing outstanding results. We are unique in our focus on the Drug Chain and Drug Wholesale market segments.  We are experts in coordinating the promotional activities of our chains and wholesalers and have a 25 year track record in developing strategies to maximize their sales opportunities. We are the only brokerage firm in the United States with an entire department dedicated to the Drug Wholesaler Class of Trade.

 

We concentrate exclusively on HBC products, so our manufacturers do not have to compete for time against large grocery principals.  Many of the companies we work with are interested in improving the “Pharmacist Recommendation” portion of their marketing plan.  We have developed several programs that put samples and/or selling materials in the hands of the pharmacy personnel at our key drug chains, as well as our Food/Drug Combos.

 

Our markets are also unique because many of our top drug accounts use AmerisourceBergen, McKesson, or Cardinal (Bartell Drugs, Bi-Mart, Hi-School, American Associated Pharmacies) as a primary source of supply.  We are experts in coordinating activities between our chains and wholesalers, and have strategies for utilizing the “Rapid Replenishment” program to your best advantage.  With our seamless coverage of both the wholesale and retail side of the market, we make it easy to obtain SPIN Reports and track advertising coop, whether on a direct or indirect basis.
